Why do we show older work? Because it speaks to the timelessness of quality design.

Yes, this retail packaging system is for ‘old’ technology. Are we still proud of it? Yes. It was integral in reestablishing TDK Electronics as a player in the Best category of ‘Good/Better/Best’ recordable media retailing that ruled plan-o-grams in the big box stores in the early 2000s. Less than a year before, TDK had been removed from a major retailer’s shelves for low sales and confusing packaging that didn’t resonate with consumers, and others were making similar complaints. The clock was ticking toward their next plan-o-gram review, and they needed a bold, clear, relevant product packaging system that consumers understood, and retailers were proud to bring onto their shelves.

The TDK Sales Team knew they were presenting a hit when the Electronics buyer called the Apparel buyer in to see how closely this new color palette aligned with their upcoming Spring fashion merchandising. Relevance achieved, orders placed, shelf space secured.

Over our 28 year history, Interrobang has solved similar packaging problems for other clients. Product relevance evolves, but quality design and communication is timeless.
