From features and benefits to wayfinding on a small screen

Being enticed by a product’s features and benefits is one thing, but navigating those same features and benefits while using the product requires understanding of the technology and the symbol for that technology.

Interrobang was tasked with developing an extensive icon library for PocketWizards’ wireless remote flash triggers. The icons needed to work as unique, descriptive symbols for each represented feature in both print and on-screen. Some of the icons simply appear when a feature is activated, others are a signpost within the wayfinding system that lead to other sub-features.

Additionally, the icons were used in product advertising to detail the robust features and benefits of the PocketWizard products, and clarity of the technology while in-use.
