Featured Clients: Switchback Brewing Co., backus distillery

We have worked with Switchback Brewing Co. since 2002, before the first draught was pulled at Ake's Place in BTV. Our work started with logo development and extended to tap markers, apparel, bar signage, sales support materials, and POS.

The first Switchback Ale label (for 22 oz. bombers) was designed in 2012 and then applied to Switchback-exclusive 12 oz. 'stubby' bottles, and has been refreshed multiple times over the past decade to maintain interest from retail buyers and consumers.

When the brand installed a canning line in 2015, we developed the first raw-aluminum and white-base printed graphics for their flagship products, as well as metallic BOP label designs for specialty, seasonal, and brewery-exclusive releases.

We have extended our design support to branding and label designs for various liquor and cocktail products through the Switchback Spirits brand and northern Vermont’s Backus Distillery.

Interrobang Design Collaborative won a Platinum Global Crushie™ Award at the 2023 Craft Brewers Marketing Association.
