Interrobang completes event program for Music Can Heal Invisible Wounds, NYC benefit

Mark Sylvester was asked to design the program for the ‘Music Can Heal Invisible Wounds’ event to benefit Fisher House, NCIRE (Northern California Institute of Research and Education)/The Veterans Health Research Institute and the We Are Family Foundation.

Held at the Highline Ballroom in NYC on May 16th, 2011, and organized by the We Are Family Foundation, the evening featured a screening of the Susan Cohn Rockefeller documentary ‘Striking a Chord’, a panel discussion on Post Traumatic Stress Disorder and an acoustic concert by John Mayer [videos can be seen here]. Two Martin X Series 000X1AE acoustic-electric guitars, both signed by Mayer, were ‘creatively’ auctioned by Mayer and We Are Family's President, Nancy Hunt [see video here... seriously].

The We Are Family Foundation (WAFF) is a nonprofit 501(c)(3) organization founded in 2002 by legendary songwriter/musician/producer Nile Rodgers. Based on Rodgers’ world famous song, We Are Family, WAFF is dedicated to the vision of a global family by creating and supporting programs that inspire and educate the next generation about respect, understanding and cultural diversity – while striving to solve some of our biggest global problems at the same time.
